What is a Off My Neck Safety Belt Clip?
This invention is a strap with clips
at each end. By placing one clip on the lower part of the safety
belt, which goes over the hips and the other end is clipped to the
upper part of the safety belt, which crosses over the chest, at an
angle. Placing this strap at an angle provides the most effective use
of keeping the safety belt away from the neck. A larger angle
degree the greater a distance is provided for the neck area,
providing greater comfort. Once set up to your comfort, the strap
no longer needs to be adjusted; the clips have little teeth that
keep them in place for one time adjustment. This strap does not
hinder the use of the safety belt or its function.
Where did this great idea come from?
The idea for this product came about after
wrestling with the car safety belt as it road up towards the neck
area on the way to work. The diagonal safety belt strap tends to
slide over toward the neck line due to a large chest area, this
discomfort can discourage a driver from wearing a safety belt.
Off My Neck Clip encourages drivers to use their safety belt by
providing comfort. After all it's the LAW so wear your safety belt
and feel good about it!
